More Than Personal
The Gospel is not simply a set of facts to believe in isolation, but a power to be experienced in community. Jesus is not just saving individuals, He is saving a people.
A New Community
The Gospel is shaping a new community, as those who were formerly God's enemies are reconciled to Him and adopted into His family.
The church is not a place, but a people - a community that is continually being reformed and renewed by the transforming power of the Gospel.
At Sojourn, we live in community by:
- caring for and being cared for by one another,
- by worshiping God together,
- by serving and being served by each other,
- by growing as disciples together,
- and by living on mission together.
We believe that God has welcomed us into His family through Christ - freely and unreservedly. So we seek to welcome others into our family as Christ has welcomed us. If you are interested in experiencing this kind of community, come join us for Sunday worship.
Are you looking for a way to get connected in community?
First, join a Community Group.
Serving at Sojourn is one of the quickest ways to get to know people and it demonstrates that you are more than a spectator . . . you are invested and bought into the mission. We ask that anyone and everyone who calls Sojourn their home be serving in one way or another.
