The World Race is an 11 month mission trip to 11 different countries around the world. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to share the Gospel, plant churches, work with children who are orphaned, minister to people who are trapped in prostitution, and support people in their lives, whatever that looks like day to day. We will be carriers of hope and encouragement of Jesus’ love to people all over the world in all kinds of ways. I will be traveling to will be Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Morocco, Ethiopia, Djibouti, India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, and Indonesia.

I am currently training in Gainesville, GA, and begin my journey to Nicaragua on June 15th and will return in late April 2020.

As I leave in June, I cannot do this year alone - I need the support of a whole community of people, lifting their voices in prayer. Would you consider walking alongside me in prayer through this next season? Please pray that my team and I would know the Gospel and live out that story of dying to ourselves and being made new each and every day. We pray that the Gospel would continue to change us and transform the people we meet around the world. Pray for each of the countries we will be serving in and the people that we will meet. It is an honor to hear their stories and be a part of their cultures and lives for a time.

Thank you for being my church, for being a community who I can come to for deep support and care. I am both terrified and excited for this journey - there are not words. It is a beautiful, surprising, humbling road that we walk alongside Jesus. Thank you for being a part of this year with me, whether in prayer, financially, or both.

With love,
Katy
