In 2009, Pastor Matt and the church leadership were seeking a way to reach out to our community.
Do you ever wonder how you should think about your activity on earth? If you are a follower of Jesus, are you ever concerned about being "too heavenly minded for any earthly good"? Here is an article that might help.
As we move through this final month of summer, here is a prayer to help you orient your heart and use your time well.

We'd like to introduce you to Kyle McMahon!
After several months of collecting resumes, receiving filled-out questionnaires, and prayerfully discussing how it seems God is leading, Sojourn's elders are really excited about the potential partnership between Sojourn and Kyle. Here are two opportunities to give to those in our community.
A few weeks ago we featured the book review of "The Gospel Comes With A House Key". It is written by the super-insightful Rosaria Butterfield and is available on our Book Wall. She makes the case that hospitality has been a beautiful reflection of the gospel from the beginning. She also invites us to consider how we may be missing out on the blessing of community that result from hospitality being a more central part of our lives. It helps us more deeply process what Paul meant in Romans 15:7 when he says "welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you".
