Baptism
A public declaration of faith
Baptism is a historic and significant practice in the Christian faith. At Sojourn, we baptize those who have personally decided to follow Jesus and are ready to publicly declare their faith. We practice baptism by full immersion in water as a joyful, public celebration with our church community. If you have put your trust in Jesus, baptism is your next step.
Who Baptism is For
Anyone who has put their faith in Jesus!
What it Looks Like at Sojourn
Baptisms usually happen during our Sunday gatherings, surrounded by the church family, with a chance to briefly share your story. We'll walk with you through everything beforehand so nothing is sprung on you.
