Why We Give
Everything we have is a gift from the Lord. Scripture says that we “know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 8:9) and this refers not only to an informed mind but an inflamed heart. It is an experiential understanding of who Jesus is and what Jesus has done for us.
“…though [Jesus] was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9).
The death and resurrection of Jesus represent the most generous gift ever given–when the King of Glory gave up everything in order to reconcile us to God. Giving cheerfully, sacrificially, and consistently is a part of our worship. When we are generous with others, we remind one another of the great generosity of our good God.
Giving Options
Sojourn provides a few different giving options as 501(c)3 organization, and all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Our online giving portal allows you to give with a credit card, debit card, or your bank account.
Credit/Debit card fees: 2.15% + $0.30/donation
Bank transfer: $0.30/donation
Auto Bill Pay through your financial institution is a great way to give regularly. As a bonus, it has no transaction fees, meaning 100% of your donation goes to Sojourn!

Many givers are opting to donate non-cash assets that offer a variety of tax benefits. Click the button to give stock, cryptocurrency, gifts from your IRA or donor-advised fund, or payment apps (Apple/Google Pay, Venmo, Paypal).
Be aware that our platform (every.org) autofills a donation amount to themselves and you will need to manually adjust that amount to $0 if you don’t wish to give to them.
On sundays
We offer multiple giving boxes in our auditorium and lobby for you to give anytime on Sunday. If you'd like to receive a tax deduction for cash gifts, complete an giving envelope with your name and address.
